ANALISIS PERPINDAHAN PANAS HEAT EXCHANGER TIPE SHELL AND TUBE PADA GAS TURBINE GENERATOR

چکیده

Proses perpindahan kalor pada dunia industri saat ini, merupakan proses kunci kerja dalam suatu mesin, karena semua mesin bekerja temperatur yang cukup tinggi. Salah satu alat penukar (Heat Exchanger), digunakan untuk menukar antara fluida memiliki perbedaan temperatur. Oleh itulah penggunaan heat exchanger perlu diperhatikan performanya secara teratur dengan performa buruk dapat berakibat kegagalan dan merugikan salah caranya adalah menjaga tetap baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan menganalisa jenis shell and tube sebagai pendingin oli gas turbine generator di PLTGU Gunung Megang. Dimana bekerja, menngunakan air media pendinginnya. Dari data diperoleh, hasil analisa didapat laju panas teoritis sebesar 780055,1 watt sedangkan aktual 1577482 watt. Sehingga keefektifitasan excahnger tersebut selama 202%, dimana dari dikatakan bahwa melebihi efisiensi 100% menyebabkan kurangnya masa pakai tersebut.
